Buzz Words: 4K & 8K
4K and 8K are two new resolutions for the latest crop of Ultra High Definition (UHD) TVs. The resolution for 4K is at 3840×2160 pixels which have four times more pixels when compared to 1080p. For 8K the resolution is 7680×4320 pixels which have sixteen times more pixels when compared to 1080p.
At these resolutions it’ll most likely make more of an impact for TV sizes over 50 inches or when viewing your TV at close range. For example this will appeal to those who like use their TV as computer monitors or those who just absolutely need to get the latest monster sized TV in their man cave! Either way it’ll look amazing assuming content providers release UHD content, 1080p with a 8K TV… blah.
